Ensenada here we come

On Tuesday July 27th FIGHT UGLY will return to the sleepy fishing village of Ensenada, Mexico. We will come back for one reason the only reason we ever go to Ensenada anymore to fight Jose Guardado. We have quite a history with Jose 1st Charles Williams fought him in T.J. at Hippodromo Jose won by knockout. Then Zippy went down to Ensenada and fought Jose outside after a rain storm and lost by knockout. We had an ace in the hole when Cisco was traveling to Ensenada to take the belt away he and a couple other guys got pulled over on the way to the fight and were put in jail, Jose wins by forfeit. Since then we went to Ensenada to fight Jose in an "exhibition" fight no winners and no losers so it did not turn out all bad. Now fresh off of his MMA win against Jose Guardado, Brady Harrison will step out of his comfort zone and go toe to toe with Jose in his home town we are looking forward to it. And did I mention there is a title on the line. Also on the card is Charles Williams kick boxing legend and he is returning to 125lbs a weight were he is undefeated. It is time for Charles to get back to his roots taking fights as high as 150lbs in MMA in the past, he is returning to the weight and sport of his past success starting a new chapter at 125 to finish out his career.

Fight Ugly

Fight Ugly is a private MMA fight team out of San Diego. My goal is to get the people with heart and determination into the cage to see what there made of. We do not charge for the training and the fighters get paid to fight in most cases. I am convinced the more "civilized" society looks down on the basic instinct to fight the less human we become. There is a segment of the population that is hardwired to fight their options are dwindling with corrupt and oppressive commissions making throwing a fight almost to expensive to consider and a pussification of our country that has almost outlawed our most primal instincts. So the choices are outside of a bar or party or the inside of a cage where a kindred spirit stands against you in one of the oldest forms of human interaction hand to hand combat. I will chronicle our journey as FIGHT UGLY navigates it's way through the maze of MMA fighting
